From Ayodhya to Triveni Sangam πŸ•‰οΈπŸ™

Front view of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

After Delhi, our family journey continued to Ayodhya.

We had planned this trip for Appa’s seventh-year prayers in Kashi, and visiting Ram Janmabhoomi was another part of our journey.

Some experiences are difficult to explain afterwards. This was one of them.

No Phone. No Photographs.

The temple was strict about bringing phones and electronic devices inside.

So, for someone who usually takes quite a few photographs, the phone had to stay behind. πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ

Inside, my attention was on the chants, the prayers, and the darshan.

At Ram Janmabhoomi

When I stood there, I felt peaceful. There was devotion all around me, and being there felt deeply personal.

I was simply happy that I had the opportunity to visit Ram Janmabhoomi with my family.

A Few Pictures From Ayodhya

Outside, I still had a few photographs to bring homeβ€”the temple, the artwork, and the streets.

And yes, a monkey made it into the collection too. πŸ˜‚πŸ’

But for the darshan itself, I have no photograph to show you.

Just this: I’m glad I was there. πŸ™β€οΈ

A Dip at Triveni Sangam πŸ™

After Ayodhya, we continued to Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj.

What caught my attention was the water. I could actually see two different colours where the Ganga and Yamuna met.

In Hindu tradition, the Saraswati is believed to join them unseen from below. Taking a dip here is considered an act of spiritual cleansing.

We all took a dip.

And for me, there was a personal decision too. I decided to let go of one habit.

I’ll keep that part to myself. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™

It was something I wanted to leave behind as we continued our journey.

Our next destination was Bodh Gaya, a place of pilgrimage associated with the Buddha.

Just here.
